Where is the end of the manual bilge pump hose supposed to be? And where is the lowest point in the bilge?
The factory seems to have just tossed the host in the bottom of the boat, aft of the bilge access panel. I could not see the end of the hose, or even be sure it *was* the bilge pump hose, so now I have moved it. I need to know where the pickup is supposed to be.
Thanks.

Kevin when I do get water in the bilge (a rare sight on our 250) it seems to collect just aft of the stairway next to the bulkhead. To get the water out I usually have to stand the intake up while pumping because I rarely have enough water to avoid a lot of air as well as water. I had to go fishing to find the end of the hose on our boat as well. It now stays put in the low point previously described.
Kevin, You can't see it in the picture but the end of my hand bilge pump hose is right next to where I mounted my auto bilge pump. Its not the lowest point in the bilge but pretty close. The lowest point in my bilge is where the keel bolts are. I could not get my hose there or mount my auto pump there unless I drilled a large hole in that support behind the pump in the picture, so I left it where it is.
