Has anyone installed a power outboard lift? Not power tilt like some outboards have but a power lift. Brand?
Thanks
Jan

Yes and no ... I want to motor-sail , have short choppy seas and want the outboard easy to lift and clear of the water. Bad back..
So I mounted the outboard bracket between 2 off 12 inches of sail track and have a 4.1 tackle to lift it up the track fully adjustable standing at the stern . . This means no leaning over the stern to disengage the spring loaded outboard bracket and when that's up the motor is easy to tilt.
With the double block and cleat at the top of the stern rail it is pretty easy and doesnt need power.
Not good with including photos but did include a photo about 8 years back..

But power tilts seem to last--the one for my 600 lb. outboard lasted longer than the motor did, with a little grease now and then.

Quick check online, looks like most lifts only go 5-6".

I don't know or recall anybody installing one but I would imagine a big problem would be to find one that matches the Catalina's mount 17 inch lift.
