There is a 20 amp, automatic Pro Marine battery charger on the 1978 C-25 I recently acquired, but no manual or instructions. I'm not finding support online, and wondering if anyone can point me to a source for that kind of documentation, or tell me what happened to Pro Marine.

The charger seems to be in good condition and the wiring all looks good, so I would like to use it if I can be sure I'm using it properly.

Ken,
I didn't see a model number, but the ID plate calls it a Pro Marine 20 amp automatic, serial number 203828, built by Professional Marine.

I googled "flyback marine battery charger," and it led me to this website: http://promariner.com/products/dry-mount-marine-battery-chargers/discontinued-products/

Does your charger look like any of those?

My mistake in not more clearly identifying this charger in the first place. It's taken me awhile to get back on the boat to check, but it's clear I missed the most obvious information that clearly identified it as a Pro Mariner 20. Feeling a bit stupid about that!

Anyway, if my new-found knowledge about uploading images works out, there should be a photo of the charger included in this reply....

That generation of charger is a great work bench 12 volt source. Replace it with current technology.

Bet it hums...
