Like many of you my email is being barraged by store ads this week for “the best deals ALL YEAR!” Hurry before the deals end. It’s a little like the carny guys who try to pull you in to their sideshow attractions.

But West Marine and Defender, two reliable and well respected vendors, are offering some pretty good deals. I saw inshore inflatable life jackets for under $60 and navigation electronics at sale prices.

Have you seen anything at a bargain price that you’ve been waiting to go on sale this weekend?
