I bought a 25 Catalina near Birmingham and need to move it to w-NC, 300 miles. Since I am a mechanic I would take good care of yours or buy a used one. Don't every body jump at once but I have till the end of sept. to start paying fee's where it sits!

I'm all the way down in Tampa so can't help you out much. Given your time, you might have to fab up something on a flat bed. What kind of keel?

It is my understanding that the 89 wing keel was 3 feet wide and not as long as the full keel on earlier models. I found a local sailboat and trailer repair that can modify trailer for me . $ more than the boat. Know anybody that wants to buy a c-25 near Birmingham?#128514;

Check with various boat haulers. If you are not in a rush you may get a very inexpensive back-haul. When I bought my C25 a regular two hundred mile haul -- near New York City -- cost under $500.00 from a local service that had available time.
