Looked out today, -7, some where, i have an old DN. iceboat hanging in the out building, now if i could just walk out here, with out dying, and see if its still there, I could get motivated to go check the ice thickness. If I can't Catalina the water, maybe, I could DN it. what do you do in the winter ??
I tried unsuccessfully to start my Toro snowblower, so, found a video online describing how to clean the carburetor. It was much easier than I thought, and only took about 10 minutes to do, and started on the first pull. I'm still smiling!
The iceboat sounds like fun! I hope you'll wear a crash helmet, and maybe "road rash" protection.

That Catalina is going to seem painfully slow after that DN... (But the Cat does have a place to pee in privacy.)
