I'm surprised you haven't received a reply yet. Maybe nobody here knows the answer. If not, I suggest you ask Catalina. They're usually very responsive to questions like that.

I'm tracking down a leak coming from around the compression post. I have my teak and holly sole pulled up and the table mount removed, I think I can get to the bottom of the compression post and see how it mounts. Ill be back to the boat on Friday and will take a picture if I can and figure out how to post it here.
Steve remember I have a Water Ballast boat. I thinking your boat my be different. Let me know what you find.
Thanks
Joe

Thanks David, I'm just wondering with the WB a swing type of keel and not a fixed lead keel what does the compression post stop onto? I may need to call Catalina if no one here knows? ...hello calling Arlyn!!!

Joe, the pics David linked to are perfect, just what mine looks like. Can't help you with a WB. I'm troubleshooting a leak from that area. I did the rebed job for the compression post in 2010 and can't believe it's leaking as bad as it is. I did some minor 4200 around the base yesterday and hope that does the trick. Sure don't want to drop the mast and pull the post.
