Getting late in the season here and I'm finding a few of my sail slugs getting hung up in the mast cutout when raising the sail. Not sure if there just worn or cocking off center Any one else encounter this? Maybe I should just change them all out the end of the season.

Spray some SailKote on them. No need to spray it on the mast groove - just spray it on the slugs.

I had my top slug break earlier this season. I ordered replacements from West Marine. Part #690865

The top one on my sail was secured with a screw-on shackle, so no stitching was required. The others would need stitching.

I've replaced a few slugs and did not need the stitching. It's those tiny screws that will end up in the water. Thanx
