finally got my spinnaker rigged (still need a downhaul). In 20 years of sailing I never flew one. It has transformed downwind from "maybe we should just rollup the genny" to "why did I not know about this sooner?!!!!!!!!!!" Lots of power even in light winds. Only problems was us looking like dingbats trying to get it raised correctly. Practice will help that.

Whoohoo!!! Another fellow convert!! Your's looks like a Sym with a pole right? Its such a blast, look forward to flying mine again soon.

yes i had an asymmetrical, but i still could not sail that deep with it. the symmetrical on a pole rocks.

The tri-radial sym sails a reach pretty well, a radial head not so much.

Losing the spinnaker under the boat and retrieving it over the transom (and covered with bottom paint) always draws applause from onlookers.
