Having spent a great deal of time, stem to stern, working on both my previous 1997WB and my current 2008WK, I thought it fun to list the "new features" or improvements, aside the obvious, that I've noted. I do fully realize that not every boat was built the same and many of these "features" overlap many years of production.

1. Dual bow chocks
2. Anchor locker opens opposite - hinged on the port side
3. Inboard shroud plates
4. Two additional opening portlights in the main cabin
5. Roller furling camlock in the cockpit
6. No combing cubbies (anyone have a suggestion for an add?)
7. Asymmetrical backstay
8. Stainless steel cleats
9. Self-tailing winches
10. Mast tabernacle has snatch block connects
11. Dual reef points
12. Welded masthead, not cast
13. D-shaped mast, not so oval
14. 2nd galley shelf
15. Propane tank gone from starboard cockpit locker (yeah!)
16. Self-contained stove
17. Much larger outboard motor well
18. Rudder offset forward a bit
19. Fuel compartment hinged toward bow
20. Main hatch has small plexi insert in lieu of entire plexi unit
21. Battery box in lazerette sit higher
22. Tension knob on helm wheel
23. Sink shutoff valves have been removed
24. No mast deck light, steaming light only
25. Factory topping lift
26. Ledger around galley surface is teak, instead of the molded, black aluminum
27. Teak ledger at the forward end of the rear bunk just behind ladder
28. Obvious conduit path to the mast base in the interior, starboard overhead

Other items to add?

Some of those differences were factory options, such as self tailing winches, coaming cubbies, mast deck light and stove. Others might have been modifications by a prior owner.
