1) On mid run 250 WK are the keels bolted to the hull?
2) Are the keels encapsulated in fiberglass as part of the hull?... do the keels need maintenance
3) What material is used for the keel
4) Will a "hard landing", create leakage, hull damage,

1) Yes
2) The keel is finished with gelcoat and/or fairing material. Like any bolt-on keel, annual tightening of nuts to the specified torque is recommended.
3) Lead.
4) Yes, if impact is hard enough. In case of an accident, hauling out for inspection is recommended.

AFAIK, all of these answers apply to any Catalina sailboat with a keel.
