Has anyone ever had to or tried to put smaller wheels on your trailer to be able to launch from shallow or very short ramps? If so, was it successful? Tell me about your experiences.

The idea is that the smaller wheels would allow the boat to be closer to the water sooner, allowing it to float before the wheels reach the end of the ramp, not because I think they would be any easier to get back onto the concrete if they drop into the power wash hole.
