Posted - 05/13/2021 : 04:53:00 1) Yes 2) The keel is finished with gelcoat and/or fairing material. Like any bolt-on keel, annual tightening of nuts to the specified torque is recommended. 3) Lead. 4) Yes, if impact is hard enough. In case of an accident, hauling out for inspection is recommended.
AFAIK, all of these answers apply to any Catalina sailboat with a keel.
