Just curious... It appears the pintles are set for gudgeons that are something like 11-3/4" apart(?) Is that standard on all C-250s? (I know you've had more than one.)

The actual measurement between the pintles is precisely 12" apart. In the previous photo 11-3/4" appears incorrect by the way the photo was taken

Sounds more rational (in one of the last countries to be stuck with the ridiculous British system of weights and measurements).
