Greetings all - am moving and need to sell Whisper. $1,500 to Association members and referrals.
She lies in a marina on Peconic Bay. The boat is clean, and sails well. I've had her for 11 years and it breaks my heart to let her go.
The sails are in good shape, clean and not torn.

Wow--I'll call that well below the usual market value. Many of us know Jerry from discussions here, and would definitely expect this to be a well-found vessel. (One of its best features is this association and forum!)
Best of luck, Jerry!
Dave Bristle Association "Port Captain" for Mystic/Stonington CT PO of 1985 C-25 SR/FK #5032 Passage, USCG "sixpack" (expired), Now on Eastern 27 $+!nkp*+ Sarge
So...we sold her...who ever first said that famous quote about the "two best days of a boat owners life..." never had the experiences I've had with family, friends and single handing...my grown daughters cried and I had to promise to get a boat once we are settled in VA...
Jerry, y'all come! Todd, Larry and I are in Northern Virginia, close to Washington, DC. Nice, comfortable sailing here on the "rivah". If you are settling near us, I even have a little Catalina 16.5 on a trailer available for daysailing use, be willing to rent her out or sell her to y'all if you need an interim sailing "fix" while you are looking for another Cat 25 (or bigger *grin*).
Regards,
Al and Bernadette, "Pualani Nui", '82 C25 SR/SK, homeport MCB Quantico
Congrats! My sale of my beloved Passage was due to changes in life, location, partner, etc. Sarge fit the new circumstances better. Changes can be renewing—even after tragedy as mine were. You’ll find new joy in VA!

Thanks for the kind offers and well wishes. We'll be settling in northern VA, but my daughter and son-in-law live in Norfolk. Not sure where we'll keep the new boat...will stay in touch!
