Three New(ish) Sobstad Sails: (1) Main with battens (standard rig), loose foot. (1) 150% Genoa; (1) 135 % Genoa. These sails have been lightly used, and the Main was cleaned professionally. These sails were used for three seasons only. They cost $1850 new. They will go for $800. Pick up only, Downingtown PA area.
Thanks, Seth, I kept the keel retracted because the slip tended to become too shallow. The good that came out of this is that I found a nice ODay 23 that I'm pleased with.
Hi Joseph. No warning. The boat had been hauled the previous spring, and the point of failure (swage at the keel attach) inspected. It appeared to be in fine condition.
Hi GaryB, I guess I could sell the main separately - these sails aren't exactly selling like hot cakes. It was (lightly) used for 3 seasons, and was professionally cleaned over the winter prior to the SK failure.
