Hi Henk and Johanna,
When I saw your post yesterday it was already late Eastern Time. I thought I’d dial in to see the start and the contestants sailing across Sydney Harbor. The action started at 1:00 PM Australia time and sadly I tuned in at 2:10pm. It was over by that time.
It seems many of the usual syndicates aren the running again this year.
I did identify a blog for periodic updates and weather forecasts.
According to the site the weather window looks pretty good for the next few days.

Now here is the race’s interactive progress map.
https://rolexsydneyhobart.com/tracker/

As of late afternoon Friday local time the leaders are in tight formation entering the Tasman Sea.

Expand the map to full screen and pinch out to track the leaders for yourself.
