Now that I figured out the name for these, I cant find any except from the UK. everyone has them them on the shrouds and cap shrouds to protect the jib sheets from abrasion on the shrouds....We are in Alexandria, VA...where can I get these?
How big is your genoa? With the swept back spreaders and no forward lowers, it takes a pretty big one to actually reach them. Most C250s I have seen have rubber spreader tips, but not rollers.

Bruce it was 1" or 1 1/4. I can measure them if you want. You will have to remove the turnbucle on the forward lowers, Not a big deal just count the turns. Drill a hole in the center of the two caps that is slightly larger than the swaging on the end of the shroud. Drill the nylon washer out so it is slightly larger that the threads on the swaging. Slide 1 cap onto the shroud then the pipe then the other cap and finally the washer. Re-assemble the turnbuckle. The washer will sit on top of the turnbuckle giving the pipe a flat smooth surface to rotate on. You can glue the caps to the pipe if needed. I made mine 7 yrs ago and I would say they are better than any that you can buy.
