Looking to replace the wooden slates with the white plastic PE material. Does anyone know who makes these for our 2003 C250?

Not sure who makes the hatch, but have you considered cutting one yourself?

Zeil, your link down loads a .CGI file which my computer has no idea how to open it...can you please resend or explain what this link is? thank you...

I can more than likely cut this thing myself, but so nice to just add water and use it...

Finally success... here are some photos Use cardboard as a template to fit the hatch opening and locate/purchase plexiglass. It is easily cut by table saw, plained smooth with a wood plane and or use a file. If you wish you could add, as we did, a teak vent strip to the top of the plexiglass hatch to allow ventilation and add a hatch lock as well. We, while living for longer periods on the boat use the see-through hatch exclusively.

While you're at it you may as well consider adding bug screens. This is simply done by using dowels and reinforced hose to be used for the corners. It friction fits nicely in the opening, is very light and easily stored.

You can do the same thing for the horizontal/vertical hatch part by using wood doorstops to hold up the material. Make sure the screen is wider than the opening to close off the track/slide area.

Then while making all these improvements you may wish to consider adding an ss bow to hold the pop-top back-part up while closing/locking the hatch. Have fun doing these very simple improvements.

Adding a bug-screen over the forward hatch using Velcro is a wleocme addition as well.

Don't forget to add a little wood strip to the bottom of the hatch(es) storage strip located against the head's wall. Have fun and... let us know how you're progressing
