So Heartbeat is moving to a new owner. The deal didn't include the race spinnaker, so I'll list it here. (I had two others for cruising, practice, and those races that are too short to get the kite packed for the second time around.) It's a max size red AirForce kite made from 3/4 oz Challenger cloth. It's only been up for races - about 30 hoists. The sail is still very '"crinkly."

Asking price is now lowered to $500.

Edited to get the image to work.

Could you provide the luff, leach & foot dimensions?

From the sailmaker's measurement sheet:

Luff 31.09 ft
Leech 31.09 ft
Foot Girth 18.9 ft
Max Girth 18.9 ft

Maximum allowed per class rules. It was accepted for my DRYA PHRF certificate.

Thanks for the dimensions.
Going by the dimensions it appears that this is a symmetrical spinnaker. The photo indicates that you were flying it as an asymmetrical, is that correct?
I have not tried that yet. I do have an S kite that size so I may give it a try.

Yes, it is symmetrical.

I had it on the guy through pole, but apparently the pole is just outside the picture. (It was a short fly, so I did skip the tweek.)

When flying without a pole, the windward clew tends to fall to leeward of the forestay. (There is nothing to pull it to windward, unless you are really deep.) You can see it's clearly to windward of the forestay. It has to be on a pole.

I'm new to the site and sailing, I'm interested in the sail if you still have it?
