I have a couple sets of sails that could use some attention, and a friend mentioned an outfit called Sailcare located in Indiana. Has anyone here had any experience with them?

I've had both my main & my 110% reworked by Sailcare. I was pretty happy with the results and would use them again. They should be coming up on their 15% winter sale pretty soon, so I'd wait for that.

I have used Sailcare in Ford City, PA. with favorable results. It will run about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of a new sail, depending on what needs to be done.
Have they opended a facility in Indiana or is it a different company?

Have read a lot of comments about Sailcare over the years - nearly all of them favorable, including high praise from the owner of a Catalina 36 we recently inspected.

It is located in Pennsylvania - northeast of Pittsburgh.

SailRite, a supplier of sail and canvas materials and sewing machines for do-it-yourselfers is located in the state of Indiana.

I sent my sails to the Sailcare in Ford City, PA as well. My only complaint was that they shortened my batten pockets by two inches for some reason. I subsequently had to cut down my four battens on my Beneteau 361. Otherwise, the sails when returned seemed very nicely reconditioned/repaired.
