The boat has been in my driveway for over two years. Last spring I gave up on the idea of selling it as a boat; sold the mast and rudder and other stuff. Now it's just a hull.
Three weeks ago I got serious about parting it out and making it go away. I got about 2 days of work into it (mostly salvage, a little cutting up) before I realized how much work it would be to cut it up. Started thinking about having someone haul it away...
Then my mother died last week.
Aside from the emotional devastation (very unexpected!) any plans for getting rid of this boat now cannot require any of my time. I am busy until snow falls and beyond.
Come over and take any pieces you want. Except for the Honda (nice try) and the bracket, it all has to go and nothing else matters.
If you still have and are looking to sell the anchor locker hatch and hardware, please let me know. No hurry as we are at the end of the season here in Ohio.
My own Mother is 82 and I am dreading that phone call. I wish you and your family all the best. I read that you already sold the mast but you didn't mention if the boom went with it. If you still have it, I would be interested in buying it. Can't imagine what the shipping would cost but oh well. And like the others, no hurry,no rush. Take care of your self and your family first.
