BTW... You're boat was built 4 boats before mine and Jeff Friday's was built 2 boats before mine. They were probably all in the shop together at some point.
A good keep! And if you decide to sell later, I'll advocate for all owners of '89-'90 vintages in particular (and I am not and was not one of them, although would have liked to have been): The '89-90 wing is a rare bird among the roughly 6,000 C-25s built essentially from 1977 to 1990, and is, I believe, possibly the best value in a 25' transportable coastal cruiser ever built by anyone. It just cost too much to build and evidently was too substantial a vessel when the competition had gone to lower-priced, lighter weight trailerables in a declining marketplace. And its improvements set it above the earlier vintages, one of which we owned and enjoyed.
In my humble opinion, an '89 WK in good condition with upgrades, newer sails, and a capable trailer should get not less than $12,000 (with a higher asking price). Some may have sold for less, but for a good specimen, with hardly any competing makes and models, I think the pricing bottom has been reached.
Find me a more livable, better performing cruising sailboat that can be hauled down the highway to cruising venues (by something less than a Freightliner and without an Oversize Load permit), and I'll eat my....... ummm, well, you get the idea.
As I said, good keep!

Just as point of reference . . . we purchased our 1989 C25 in 2009 for $9,500, that was at the early stage of the Great Recession. We had a new trailer built by Trail-Rite, galvanized, LED lights, roller trains and quad disc brakes for $9,000.
I bought mine in '07 and paid $9K (maybe $9.5) with no trailer. It had a new bottom job, all new interior cushions, teak had been redone, and the bimini was new. Ended up buying a trailer for it the next year (2 days before Ike hit us) for $1,500 and the boat has been on the trailer once since then for a total of about 5 minutes.
bought my 87 3 years ago for 4k :). with trailer ready to sail except his motor was stolen. sorry to bring down the market! i swapped motors with my swing keel and sold thr swing keel for $3500
Lots of variables: Condition, looks, motor, trailer, competition, local population of sailors (beginning or intermediate),... A nice '89 WK on a road-ready trailer should appeal to a pretty large geography if presented to it. The larger the area, the more likely somebody in it, or their friend, will recognize the special qualities of the boat.

And now a sale of an '89 for $14.5K. That's a fair price. I keep saying, that vintage of that boat is an undervalued gem!
