I thought I'd share this video I put together using my iPhone camera and iMovie on my phone. It is a compilation of our sailing season last year on Flathead Lake, MT. Hope you enjoyl.

It truely is a great place to sail. Unfortunately, they drop the water level in the winter for flood control, which can make some of the marinas too shallow, and limit the season.
I'm sorry, I cannot hold back. Your beautiful sailing videos are marred by the fact that, that infant was not wearing a life jacket. That is totally inexcusable and extremely irresponsible! They make them. I know, I have them for my grandchildren.

Not sure what the rules are in your state, but ours states, no requirement for boats over 20 feet long for children 12 and under.
Lighten up, my guess is he has a lifejacket for the youngest one (just a moment where it wasn't on I am sure), he had one for the older child.
Thank you all for the encouraging replies (and safety concious ones too). Yes, each child has a life vest on board, and now is required to wear it if they are out of the cabin area. I am working on another video for 2015, and recently put a shorter one together for a brief sail my wife and I took. Here's the link:
These videos were all shot with my iPhone 6 plus, and edited using iMovie on the same phone. I recently dropped my phone in the water, so excuse the buzzing for most of the video that sounds a bit like a motor.
Nice. What a great birthday sail. Glad to see you out on the water.
We recently sailed the length of the lake for the first time (Polson to Somers). Spent the night on the hook in Somers bay. Wonderful water, scenery, weather, company...
Here is another video of an evening "dinner cruise" with family and friends last summer. I've been having some trouble with "technology", so when I got those issues sorted out, in my excitement, I uploaded the video before completing the sound track. I'm getting the itch again. Can't wait for the lake levels to come back up again.
Nice evening! Dinner on a sailboat works best when there's almost no wind.
I'll just say, however, that when docking, I tell kids to stay seated or down below until a grownup is ready to help them get off. Bad things can happen to kids between a boat and a dock. Pardon the curmudgeon...

You are right. Kids can get hurt, and we try to keep them out of the way down below when docking. Sometimes though they can be like popcorn. But yes, you are right, and thanks for the reinforcement of that.
Great video!!! So many memories of my children at your children age sailing. Hold on to those memories. They do remember and we cherish . . . . and keep sailing, together!
