My anchor light troubleshooting required me to check the bulb which fell apart as soon as I touched it. The new anchor light came yesterday and I'm trying to open it up so I can install the LED bulb and mount it but, to be honest, I'm not sure how it comes apart.

Can somebody help me out? As easily as my last one broke, I'm afraid to touch this one!

If your talking about the Aqua Signal 25 the clear lens and top cap separate from the bottom base by giving it a twist if I remember right.

That's the one, Scott. I tried that and felt resistance but I'll give it another go.
Thanks.

You could spray some WD 40 or the like into the joint between the base and lens, Might make them easier to separate. Like I said I'm not sure if it screws off or just pops off, Can't remember but you can see where they have to come apart. If you get the lens to spin 360 deg and it doesn't appear to be coming apart then it probably pops off.

Was a slight counter clock-wise twist and off it came. After the original disintegrated my hands I was nervous.
