Originally had put myself down for being splashed on the week of the 27th(next week). I went down to the boat today(25th) to finish up some things so the boat would be ready. The yard crew was standing in front of my boat looking at it when I pulled up. Angel(yard forman) looks at me and says, We got to move your boat for the construction guys. The construction guys are installing new bulkheads next to my boat and have frankly been a PIA to me while trying to work on my pre-launch projects constantly having to stop what I was working on while the crane would swing another section of bulkhead into place. Angel says, You ready to go in? I don't want to move it and block it up just to launch it next week. I say, Cool, Give me 20 min. I put the gas can aboard,Hooked up the hose to the engine, Put the tiller on the rudder, Dug out some dock lines and said OK lets go. So unexpectedly I got splashed at 11am today. The Honda started on the second pull and we went for a short ride around the Harbor. Went back to my slip and docked it. Always a little nervous about docking first time after the winter but slipped it right in there. I'll go down tomorrow and put the sails on and start the season! Can you see me smiling?

Nice turn of events! Must've felt good being back in the saddle with everything working!
I just finished my bottom (now I have to peel off the masking tape), need to prep the fuel, docklines and fenders, then I'll be ready for this week. Thought I'd get time to drop the mast but I can do that on the dock. Hull's all cleaned up and shiny for the new season.
