The portable head on our boat has given up the ghost. I haven't taken it apart to see what exactly the problem is yet, but I'm wondering if it would be something that would just be easier to get a new one. Where would one find a new head for a Capri 25? Are there any options like a composting toilet or the likes for this boat? Thanks.

Walmart is your cheapest option for a new head (look in the camping section).

Composting for a Capri 25 is out of my realm of experience.

Do you have any experience with this? Any particular model that fits? How does it compare to the original?

I couldn't tell you what the original looked like my Capri 25 didn't have the original... but the cheapest camp head, fits in the port spot for the head nicely.

Walmart also has the chemicals to use. I bought the same head for my S2... if you wait for sales on camping, usually early spring, you can sometimes get another $10-$15 off.

Get a 5gal model. I can't stress this enough. For 7 bucks more its a no brainer.http://www.walmart.com/ip/Portable-Toilet-5-Gallon-Dual-Spray-Jets-Travel-Outdoor-Camping-Hiking-Toilet/29402399#about

Sorry Scott the 5 gallon model won't fit under the berth on the Capri 25... which is why I recommended what I did. There is about a 3-4 inch clearance over the top of the smaller head. As I recall. Otherwise I'd totally agree (and is what I should have purchased on my S2)
