I had a Harken furler on my old boat, my new boat came with a CDI ff4. I need to replace the internal halyard, can I get one from CDI? So far I can't find one on their dealer websites. Has anyone done the ball bearing upgrade on this model?
Also, for those of you with this furler, what are you doing with your jib halyard?
Thanks, Craig.

Once I changed over to all-line halyards, I started using mine as a topping lift. It's on the list of projects to replace it with some 1/4" line. Eventually.

That's an idea. Just change the direction of the line to match the main halyard right? And add some length.
Just ordered a new halyard from CDI. I can't believe in this day and age you can pick up the phone and have it answered on the first ring and the deal done in a few minutes. Too easy! I forgot to ask about the ball bearings though.

I use my jib halyard for a jib cover I made from a sail rite kit and I have the ball bearing but have never used one with out.
