I managed to snap the bow pulpit at the base.

Suggestions on a fix? For obvious reasons, I'd rather not have to remove the entire unit.

I had a broken part welded on my bow pulpit last year without removing the pulpit and without harm to the boat. You should remove the broken mounting plate, of course, but a stainless steel welder should be able to do it.
