Looks like we got a new addition to the Cat Club here at Back Creek, "Marimba". Looks like a late 80's, due to the plexi port lights and aft stanchion with center boarding latter. Inboard as well, hence there being no outboard bracket and a stern that sits about 4" lower than mine. Are you on here? and welcome!

Yea, sometimes when I'm out sailing I make the same mistake. Hard to tell a 27 from a 25 from 1/4 mile away. Besides a 27 is just a 25 on steroids.

The three evenly spaced windows are one clue--the reverse-raked transom with no transom-hung rudder is another.
