I am not trying to start a lengthy debate about the merits of making your own sail, I know that has been discussed on here many times before. I am making my own mainsail. I am trying to find the dimensions on the factory sails for the Catalina 25TR so that I have a starting place. I have the normal IJPE dimensions. Those are readily available. I am looking for information on the foot and luff rounding, camber ratio, etc. I have my old mainsail and can get some dimensions from it, but it is so old and stretched that I am not sure how much to rely on them.

I have a copy. It is very helpful, but it is pretty general in the information. But thanks for the suggestion.

A friend used a SailRite kit for his Hunter 28.5 and it is doing great after 8 years. Have you checked with SailRite about the dimensions you need? I assume they have the panel patterns for a C 25.

Sailrite sells kits, but does only provides the sailplan dimensions if you buy the kit from them.
