All - the cockpit sole in "Sea of Tea" is needing some TLC. The PO had removed a while, and did a nice job of repairing the fiberglass, including putting a non-skid pad over the patch. But that's starting to wear away, and I'd like to get the cockpit looking a bit nicer. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to proceed? Note that the fiberglass patch by the PO is still in very good shape. My thanks in advance.
A wheel base should have a standard cap available to plug the "port"/access hole in the cockpit sole. No other repair should be needed. What brand wheel was removed? What does the website advise for that brand wheel?
One of the guys at the C-22 regatta this past weekend had covered most of his deck with this stuff, including the foredeck, coaming tops, around the mast base, cockpit seats, and cockpit floor, anywhere one could slip and lose footing in a race.
