Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention 2015
Welcome to the Message Board for the Havasu Pocket Cruisers!

The 2015 HPCC has been cancelled and it appears likely at this time that the HPCC has run it's course and is going to be retired permanently. The message board remains up to facilitate comunications between friends and sailors. It appears a number of sailors may still intend to come to the Havasu/Mohave area this season. There is once again a "Havasu Light" gathering being put together by Nelson Amen. Specifics for that gathering can be found at :

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/sailbo...lakehavasulite/info

Nelson did a great job hosting everyone last year and I would anticipate this year to be even better.

Thanks so much for all the support of the HPCC over the years gang. :-)

Sean , Jo, and yes, of course....Ensign

(Please refrain from political or commercial posts on this board. Thanks)

It's on a much smaller scale, but the C-22 National Association has, for several years now, hosted a North Gulf Coast Cruise in the spring. I believe that they usually start from Ft. Walton Beach Yacht Club, but I could be wrong. I bet they wouldn't mind a few C-25's or 250's tagging along. Check the C-22 national web site for info.
It's on my bucket list.

The above is a post on the Catalina Owners site. It is for a possible cruising event on Lake Texhoma about 75 miles north of Dallas.

I'd be interested in attending but would not be bringing my boat from the coast.

I just went to their WEB site to see the facility. It looks like they do not have any open slips for sailboats at the facility. I don't know about others but I am not interested in having to launch and retrieve every day.
