The headsail I inherited with my standard 1984 Catalina 25 needs replacing. I have already bought a new mainsail so I am hoping I can get a good used jib without spending a lot of cash.
Let me know if you have one you are not using or you plan on replacing with a new sail.
I have a hank-on Waters racing (mylar) 150 genoa from a C-22 for sale that is very close in size to a C-25 std 110 jib, according to The Sail Warehouse published specs: Luff 0.91ft. shorter (26.25 vs. 27.16 ft) Leech 0.08 ft shorter (24.50 vs. 24.58 ft) Foot 0.18 ft longer (13.00 vs. 12.82 ft) LP 0.50 ft longer (12.00 vs. 11.50) The sail was class measured in 2005, used moderately in 2-3 racing seasons, and not much after that because I started racing with another C-22 skipper whose boat was faster. I offered it in the Swap Meet here a few months ago for $400, but no takers. Reducing price to $300, plus postage. New ones cost over $1,000. Always rolled and comes with sausage bag. Be glad to send pics if you are interested. The Sail Warehouse offers a dacron std C-25 110 jib for $525, coastal jib for $625. The sails they offered several years ago were Rolly Tasker and were pretty good quality.
