Would have loved, at this time of the year, to sail Lake Havasu during the Pocket Cruiser Convention.
Does anybody know if the event is going to be held next year again??

Henk and Johanna, I am sorry that our attendance (2012) did not match up with yours. We were the only Cat-250. It would be great to have met you both in person.

Thanks for posting your boat modifications, behavior modifications (for cruising), and all the stories.

I hope that Sean (and crew) can find a way to make it fun for themselves again. As you have written, it was an absolute blast for us, but clearly was transitioning from joy to a burden for Sean as the size of the event grew. I have offered whatever help that I might be able to lend in putting together another gathering.

Here's to the next PCC! Hope to see you there (wherever it might be).

Ben, bigelowp, here is our writeup from 2012 if you are interested:

Ben, Peter & Ben... it was a lot of fun... thanks for your comments!!

Peter too bad we missed meeting you, your wife and 2 daughters, We would have loved spending time together before, during or after the convention. Perhaps early 2015 is the year to meet and do things together. We greatly enjoyed your Havasu photo's and report.

For Sean and crew it was a huge undertaking and responsibility to host the event year after year and yes... we too hope that he'll find a way to make it happen again. We're sure he'll appreciate your offer of helping if the event is going to be a reality in 2015.

Encourage your daughter to post a little story of her trip with mom/dad and sister all the way to Havasu and especially her interview with Howard Rice

Just wait... wind's coming

That would be great to do the Lake Havasu this next winter. The Northwest trip got changed so won't be able to go this summer. We tried to connect with you a couple of years back but that didn't work. Have the trip on the calendar for sure 2015. Thanks for keeping us in mind.

Thank you for the invitation to procure a 2014 destination article.

However, at this point we're uncertain, due to a flooded basement, that we will be on the water at all this summer.

Fortunately we did have the right coverage for all the inside repair and replacement but outside the house drainage is something that we have to tackle ourselves.

It all happened during a 24 hour deluge when 95 m/m (3+") of water came down and drains unable to handle ground, surface and roof water.
