Has anyone gone back to tiller steering and what plate did you use to cover the existing hole in the floor?

I removed my wheel 2 years ago. best thing I had Done. The boat comes alive.. I placed access cover over opening where the pedestal was, you have to enlarge opening so cover will fit properly. I think I used an 8 inch cover but depends on size of hole left by pedestal.
