Hi Peter, I had a C25. The swing keel suddenly swung (in the slip, during a windstorm). The resulting hull damage totaled her.

Sorry for the loss, Bruce. I keep my keel up in the slip too - shifting the weight aft improves drainage along the decks and in the cockpit.

Thanks, Seth, I kept the keel retracted because the slip tended to become too shallow. The good that came out of this is that I found a nice ODay 23 that I'm pleased with.

Bruce:

So sorry and what a way to lose a boat. Have you considered getting another C25 and using what is salvageable to "upgrade" her?

Hi Bruce, I's be interested in the 135% if it is still available and you are selling them separately. Is it a furler type? Shoot me a number. Thanks

Hi Brian and JoAnne, The 135 (and the 155) are hank-on. The hanks are large, bronze; spring-loaded.

Is the main still available and will you sell it separately? How old is it and what would you be asking for it?

Did you have any warning on the swing keel failure? Was it the Pin or cable?

Hi Joseph. No warning. The boat had been hauled the previous spring, and the point of failure (swage at the keel attach) inspected. It appeared to be in fine condition.

Hi GaryB, I guess I could sell the main separately - these sails aren't exactly selling like hot cakes. It was (lightly) used for 3 seasons, and was professionally cleaned over the winter prior to the SK failure.

How much would you be asking?

Hi GaryB, Just realized, you're in Texas. Shipping would be expensive...

I realized that. Just trying to get a price for what you wanted to sell it for but don't worry about it I'll pass.
