My Fairclough" boat cover paid for itself today. Since there are so many C-25's they have the measurements and can deliver a cover that fits to a "T". By purchasing in the spring they gave me a $200 discount. So no more expensive shrink wrap, or sketchy tarp and PVC tents. This is the third winter, should have bought it many years ago. Photo is from the first year I used it. Wrinkles have come out with practice. Underlined words are HOT links
I'm into my 7th year with my cover. Looks identical to yours. Agree on one of the best things I've bought for the boat. Got mine from the Canvas Shop in Huntington and also goes to the rail and not over it. I like that it let's the boat breathe. Never a mold issue. No worries about a tarp blowing off in the winter winds or chafed gel coat. They too had the pattern for a C25. Must be a popular boat.

My cover came with the boat, and has no label. It's more than 15 years old and has been through a hurricane and many severe storms. The fabric has never failed. I have replaced a couple zippers, which are easy to do, and I have had to re-stitch some seams where the thread was UV-rotted. (In the future I'll re-stitch it with Tenara thread, which is not susceptible to UV rot.)
Mine hangs over the gunwale 3-4". It keeps water off the deck where the genoa track and other thru-deck hardware is mounted. I haven't had a problem with mold, but manufacturers are now installing vents on their boat covers, which should eliminate any such problems.
I don't tie mine on anymore. Now I drive tent stakes into the ground. The tent stakes keep the lines from touching the sides of the hull, which avoids little problems.

As I take my mast off each winter the price is a bit more, but each year when I must find a way in through a poorly located door on my shrink wrap job, I keep thinking why have I not invested in a proper winter cover!

Year 3 with my $30 dark green heavy duty tarp. Covers the cabintop, cockpit and transom and keeps the snow out. I have six 1" PVC pipes hanging over the boom and a smaller tarp covering the bow. For $50 I'm set for 3 years.
