It is ironic that after visiting this forum after a long absence, to get two inquires about steering conversion kits in the same week. One of them is a 250 having a saildrive and diesel tank, who needs to confirm headroom for the conversion and the other an owner with the original push/pull who is dead in the water after it failed.
I've not been supplying the kits for a few years now and suspect that little demand now exist but I've agreed to open a window and supply a kit to each of the two inquires.
I just purchased a 250 last week. It has the Edison steering and I am assuming it has not been upgraded. I will confirm the status Thursday when I return to the boat. It is a 1998 year model. How much are you charging for your current kit?
