Was able to get down and do a serious cleaning on Saturday and now had everything serviced on the boat and ready for the sailing season. Got the new motor and motor mount installed and the boat pulled out of water and the bottom power washed so it is nice and slick. We ended up having a beautiful 70 degree day with 10kts of breeze for our first sail of the season and it was amazing! After a great sail out to the bay bridge we reached back home doing hull speed the whole way. Speed over ground with the tide was 7.5kts and we were holding 6.5kts over water all day. We're at 6.5kts a number of times but missed it with the camera every time. We had a great day and are so excited for the season to start. Hope everyone has a great season as well!
