Well Dale and I made it to Lake Pleasant, AZ arriving 11-01 by trucks/trailer and boat. First project was sanding gel coat bottom and adding epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint. Then a obligatory six month wax job to the hull all done at a friends business who kept the boat under his huge roof. Then back to the lake to start some rigging replacement, which included all standing rigging and a new mast head, which didn't survive, so there was a short delay (3 days) till the arrival of the new masthead from CD. All the rigging is off and marked and in the riggers hands now. Going to do some mast cleaning, gel coat chip repairs, hardware maintenance and argue about removing the rigid solar panel on deck in front of mast, and sew up a new bimini cover. The list goes on and on but once the rigging is done the list will get priorities shuffled depending on budget. The great news is even with our boat down, I've been doing lots of sailing using other peoples boats. and the weather has been in the 60-70 for the past 5 weeks.

I'd like to argue for mounting rigid solar panels on a tall bimini located abaft the boom and before the backstay.
