One of my dock neighbors owns a machine shop. He comes up with stuff for the C25 in his spare time.

Very nice.
Does he have plans on selling them ?
This looks much better than the plastic ones available from CD.

He has made a handful for the C25s in our marina. I will talk to him about this week. He enjoys making parts for the C25.

Meanwhile, others who might be interested could chime in . . .

I've thought about painting mine offwhite to match the hull. The original did not have a full gelcoat job on it and it's not so pleasing to look at - there's a little of the fiberglass or resin color coming through.
Does your buddy make the trim piece in aluminum or stainless steel - it's hard to tell due to the photo's color rendition. Shiny like chrome or matte?

Probably because I removed the vinyl trim piece, filled the screw holes, wiped some gelcoat patch over a few places, and called it a day. It looked a lot better than it did with the deteriorating trim (under the 10' rule), and I figured a new one from CD would go the same way. That SS version is over the top!

My friend outsourced this to a friend who owed him a favor. He's going to talk with him.

If made available and at a reasonable price I'm in! Looks far better than the plastic I have and should last forever!
