I went to tighten my loose pelican gate and "tightened" it right off into the marina. Dove for it today, and there's about 16" of mud in 15' of water, and I had two guesses before viz was 0.

I don't have a thread gauge. Anyone know what size our boats call for? 1/4" and 5/16 seem to be the most common.

I believe it's 5/16"-24 but I would double check it.

Thanks. My crude tape measure check seemed to agree. I ordered a couple off eBay for $15 each. Sure beats WM.

Do you have right or left hand threads. Mine are left meaning they screw on counter clockwise. I dont know why or if all C25's are that way.

I've got left hand, which is what the seller said they have. Seems like it could be standard, but not one I would rely on blindly.
