Will Cetol work on hardwood flooring (oak that was stained) on a covered porch that is subject to weather and significant humidity. We need to sand and resurface the floor. The porch in question is on a summer house built in the 1880's. How and why hardwood flooring was used several years, by my brother, ago is another story too long for this thread.
Would Cetol hold up to foot traffic?

I saw Cetol at the hardware store made for wood other than teak. I think Cetol is sold under the Silken brand. Check it out on the internet.

I'm not sure if it will work or not but I would be afraid that it would peel after time then you would have to resand the porch. I would use something made for decks like Thompson's WaterSeal that won't peel and only needs to be replied now and then.
