Can anyone tell me what year C-25 hull #5189 would be?

Your year will be the last 2 numbers in your HIN number. That's the hull # not the sail #. The # will be just under the rub rail on the stern starboard side printed in the fiberglass. It will also be on the metal plate attached to the transom inside the cockpit under the tiller. It starts with CTY...........

Click on "boat search" in the top left. Hull #5190 is 1986, as is #5172. Unless those guys screwed it up, safe to say yours is an '86.

my hull number is 5696 and it was built July. 1987 based on the boat identification number on the transom, if that helps you out.
