Hello All,

I have completed the new counter tops. I will take them to the boat for installation tomorrow or the next day. I still need to sand and finish the teak trim. Fair winds everyone.

Hi David,

I used 3/4" plywood from Home Depot then sealed all exposed wood surfaces with resin. I bought 1 sheet and used half. After everything was cut to size and shape, I covered the counter surfaces with white formica from Lowe's.
If you still want to remove your galley, you would have to do some major chopping and remodeling of the fiberglass in that area. For two of the counters, I had the old ones to copy for shape and size. But the one from the head, I had to figure out for myself. Best of luck.

Hi Everyone,
I installed the new counter tops today as well as the new head sink and faucet. The galley also got a new faucet but I was able to save and clean up the original galley sink.

Hi all,

No hot water yet, but there will be when I'm finished. However, it will only be available with shore power sense I don't have an inboard engine 6 gallons from WM @ $279. And as you can see, it will be a pressurized on demand system.

My '82 had a new white counter and some galley cabinets too.
