Can anyone suggest a cheaper alternative to this product:

https://www.bluesea.com/products/8248/DC_Digital_Multi-Function_Meter_with_Alarm

I'm interested in the audible low voltage alarm functionality.

Seth, the link did not copy completely so I can't tell which product you're looking at...

Use the following format. [url = "http://www.yourwebsitehere.com/"] text info [/ url]
without any spaces.

Thanks Bruce. I changed it to a link to the manufacturer's website. I couldn't get the link to Defender to post.

Wow! That's nice but at an MSRP of $300+ that's pricey for an indicator. It's really two in one Voltage plus Amps with a big range of currents. I'm reasonably happy with a LED indicator for voltage plugged into the cigarette lighter port. Green is around 12.7v, Amber is around 12.5v and red is less than 12.3v. Amber over green means the battery is charging around 13.2v and red over amber and green means overcharging. Duh
For current, I remove the house fuse and insert my DMM with a 20A setting. If I'm pulling more than that in the house, the 30A fuse will blow anyway.
You could permanently install two meters: DC Volts and Amps, but it would probably cost about $200 and then you'd have 2 meters, not one.
