What is best way to add the stainless reinforcing plate to the motor mount? Do you through bolt the mount, plate and wood block? Or bolt plate to motor mount and add the board/spacer piece? It seems if through bolt all, the wood spacer board can eventually deteriorate loosening the engine. Newer motor mounts have the plate welded on.

Just a couple threads down some people are talking about how they are reinforcing for motor mounts.
