I need to fill in a couple-three holes in my stern pulpit - using pop rivets. So I can order the correct (grip) rivet, does anyone know the wall thickness of the tubing?
The grips on 3/16" stainless steel, closed end (sealed), dome head rivets range from 0" to 1/8" and then 3/16" to 1/4" and up.
If your just filling the hole and not attaching anything use the 0-1/8. Catalina used a good quality tubing but even a heavy duty tubing isn't thicker than 1/8" Heavy duty tubing is @1/16" Standard tubing is @3/64"
Shutterfly has made it so I can no longer access the thumbnails I used in the signature. But if you click the empty boxes, you'll see the full-sized versions, as before. I haven't worked up the energy to do something about it...
