This is a special boat. It sails great, is very roomy for a 25-footer and is solidly built. We've had many adventures around the Apostle Islands on this boat but it's time to move on. The boat has been meticulously maintained and upgraded. It is ready to sail away on your own adventures. You won't find a better maintained and configured weekender out there.
The cockpit has 2 lockers, one very large with hooks for organizing gear. The tiller steering is well balanced and very comfortable. The tiller swings up and out of the way for more room in the cockpit at anchor. There are 2 2-speed winches in the cockpit for jib sheeting. Going down the companionway you will find a large double berth to starboard under the cockpit that can be used for guests or storage. To port is the galley which has a sink, ice box with drain, and a 2-burnder alcohol stove.
The salon has a dinette to port with 2 bench seats and a settee to starboard. The dinette converts to a double berth. Forward of the salon is the head with a marine toilet and a sink. The vee-berth at the front of the boat is comfortable for 2 and has a large opening hatch above for ventilation. The boat is perfect for weekends at anchor and also does great for 10-day trips we have taken. This boat is ready to go!
We have loved this boat and we are sad to sell. But we are excited to be moving on to our next boat.
The boat is currently on its trailer in Siren, WI. This is about half way between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Bayfield, WI. A local broker said that he would list the boat for $7990. I will offer the boat for $7500 to these most excellent forum readers.

Tomas, I don't know where the inner window trim came from. The P.O. had taken on that project. You can use the photo and ask on one of the other forums, if you'd like. This is such an active forum. Somebody will recognize them.

Looks great: good luck with the sale. You certainly put in a lot of time and effort. What did you move on to in boat?
Thanks for the feedback. I added the info. Can't believe I left it out in the first place...
We bought a 1979 Dufour 35, another solidly built, straightforward boat. The boat has been well cared for and surveyed well. Buying the Catalina 25 was the best decision we ever made! We've learned a lot and had many adventures with it. If we have half as much fun with the Dufour it will have been a good purchase, too.

I can certainly keep that in mind. For now, though, I'd like to make the boat as attractive as possible in the hopes of getting an offer soon. I'll hang on to your email and feel free to touch base again. I appreciate the interest.
